The flight from Philidelphia to Cleveland didn't have very many passengers, so i was able to take up to entire seats and take a nap.

While I was sleeping Dianne ate my peanuts.

I forgave her after the initial reaction of being furious.

There was so much snow on the ground when we arrived home, and I was still wearing my flip flops...it was cold.

It looked really pretty from the plane though, it was like a winter wonderland.

Nice to be home again.

I walked in the door and everyone was in the kitchen setting the table and making pancakes for breakfast.

After the Sanker's dropped me off, and after I ate and showered, Alan picked me up and we went to school.

After school Rachel and Ryan came over to see my pictures.

It felt like a long day...but nice.

I'm taking Liam's words of encouragement to heart and am going to try to have a good time here again.

We packed up and then went to church this morning.

Went to lunch,

and traveled to Chiang Rai.

Oh how I will miss Chiang Mai. I love Chiang Mai. It was th first place of Thailand that I ever met.

The bus ride up North was fun.

We saw some interesting things at our couple of stops.

It was a long and pretty drive...and as the song goes, I didn't want to close my eyes...cause I didn't want to miss a thing.

One of my favorite parts was when we were driving through a real country area, out in the middle of no where...

rice fields as far as you can see, and then sitting in the middle of it was the largest Toyota factory I have ever seen.

It seemed out of place, and made me chuckle to myself.

Distribution at Mckean today.

It used to be a place for people with leprosy, and they would do different handicraft things as a way of therapy.

It's now mostly used as a rehabilitation center for people with disabilities.

It was a very nice distribution day.

Warm yet breezy.

February 15

It was the second day in Chaing Mai at the RICD again.

The morning started with a big ceremony in honor of Her Royal Highness Princess Galyani who died a month earlier.

The ceremony was followed by some dancers and music.

The rest of the distribution went very well.

It was a fun day.

In the evening Annie, Dianne and I went to the Chaing Mai night bizarre.

(MECHANICS)
(THERAPIST)
(SUPPORT)

Today was the first distribution. We got all set up and team photos.

IT WAS AWESOME!

A wise person told me to go with no expectations...I did so and am grateful.

In the evening we went to this restaurant where Dr Sumi made reservations for the RICD and wheels team.

It was fun. There was this show of the history of Siam during dinner with a bunch of music and dancing.

We also lite one of those paper candle things and let it go into the sky.

February 13

Today was training day.

The RICD folks gave us a summary and history of their outreach.

After we were finished we had a time of prayer for each team member. We prayed for the Lord to use our hands for his glory and to accomplish his work through them.

We had a big dinner at the hotel that night. Dana ordered. It was an entertaining meal.
