February 21
Amy had a harp duet with her teacher this evening and a small orchestra. Uncle Jim, Aunt Sheryl, Dad, Martha, Shannon, Dan, and myself went to hear her. It was a real good concert, and amy did fabulous.
we came back to the house for maggie's little birthday celebration for cake and an attempted game of scatagories.

February 20
Today was Maggie's 3rd birthday.
We didn't celebrate today due to Amy's harp recital. But she did get a my little pony and leopard print Mary Jane's from James and Angela. Maggie made sure to let everyone know that they purchased them from target, and that she loves her new shoes.
I took up Amy's babysitting job since she was at a recital and came home to Maggie sleeping right dead center in the hallway. mom said she had been like that for a couple hours. there is an unbelievable amount of traffic and noise that goes through that hallway, yet she slept like a rock.
I spent the rest of the day taking down walls with Rachel at her place.
LCCC campus is still closed due to the fire.

Sentimental.
This is one of my favorite illustrations.
I have been in my current bedroom for 13 years, this picture reminds me of what it originally looked like.
I vividly remember the first time i saw it.
We had been living at grandma and grandad's condo for about 10 months while dad and the crew worked on getting our house in living condition. Each morning when i heard dad wake up i would get out of bed to meet and ask him if i could go to work with him, being very aware that each day he would so no. Finally after 10 months he said i could go with him to the house. James told me to go upstairs where my bedroom would be, but to be careful because there still wasn't a floor. I had no idea it was completed. It was the kind of bedroom little girls dream of. light pink walls, with red rose stenciled along the border, a white loft bed with amy's toddler bed underneath, a kitchen set in the corner with a whole nursery for my dolls, my favortie dolls and stuffed anilmals, that i hadn't seen in what seemed like forever, sitting in the window sill. I remember standing there looking at everything and crying i was so happy. It was one of the happiest days i have lived so far.
