July 12

Blog updates are few and far between, but you know it is an extra special day when it is good enough to blog about.

Today I went to Vermilion to meet with a bride and groom to talk wedding.

After the meeting Greg came up North to meet me there. We spent the rest of the day together there at the Vermilion Maritime Museum. We found a "nook" with the lake in front of us between three trees, that offered just the right amount of shade, it was there that we placed a blanket and sat. We talked, had a picture perfect picnic, made friends with a picnic ant, acted like we knew what a squirrel was thinking about, talked, spotted Cedar Point far off on the horizon, I got an ab work out from laughing as Greg put on a comedy routine of his art history professor, talked a little bit more, watched the sunset, had some coconut chocolate, talked, realized we had been sitting in the same place for over 5 hours, found restrooms for a lady and a gent, we walked and looked at expensive houses on the Lake Erie canal and daydreamed. Talked a bit more, bid farewell, and knew we had just experienced one of the most wonderful days imaginable. It was out of this world, as Virginia Purvis would say.

Thank you, Gregory Hartman :)
